First of all, the backstory:
I've been playing the United Kingdom in DoomsDay 1.1, intending to have mass troops in belgium to stop the German invasion. On september 1st 1940 I commenced attacking German lines in Antwerp. After my Victorious british crusader tanks entered antwerp, I was pleased to see that I had recieved it. 5 hours later (in-game time, not out game
) the french arrived with their tank divisons.
Thats when all hell broke loose.
(You cant really see because of the army list, but all those messages are ENEMY IN SIGHT, FRANCE (something something) ANTWERP OH NOES!
Suddenly, Antwerp started flashing BLUE PINK BLUE PINK BLUE PINK (yes, just like in those japaneese commercials that make kids seizure). It started flooding my screen with this message, not enabling me to even pause. I was able to save the game, thinking to myself, hey its a one time thing, right? Upon reload it happened again to my dismay, so I loaded up the options and set the "enemy on sight warning" to nothing, not even game log. Unfortunately, I was still feeling incredible chopiness and FLASHING COLORS LOL.
I thought I could live with it, until I noticed something dire for my plan to return democracy to europe.
Exchangal of a Province with an ally causes units in said province to lose org.
Suddenly, the 60 divisions in antwerp were being attacked by a measely 9 divisions of Von Bocks infantry, and losing!
All I ask is that this problem be fixed (in the next patch hopefully) so this wont happen to another player. If you need more info on my problem post here, and if you have an ingenious fix for this, any idea is welcome at this point
I guess stopping the germans from taking france is impossible, even my allies work against me
