This AAR starts on june 10, 1942. I have decided to write an ARR after
seeing how bizarre and complicated the world has become.
1. I play with Italy. I have conquered all the eastern Mediterranean,
the Middle East, the Balcans and some places in the Western
Mediterranean. Cyprus was conquered after a bloody landing,
however the Italian troops found nobody after landing in Gibraltar
and Malta. Italian navy is very weak right now, due to the
permanent confrontation with the British. Observe the Italian territory
in France. After the German entrance in Paris triggered the Vichy
France, since I had many troops in France, I declared war
to annex them. The Germans joined in. When Vichy France
went to Exile the Germans kept a part of it, and I kept most
of it, including a single isolated province in the border with Spain.
2. The second picture shows Asia largely conquered by
Japan, including almost entirely Indonesia and India. Others have
been puppeted, like Nationalist China. But Japanese success
goes far beyond all of this....
3. Observe the north of Europe, The UK in particular. What the germans
did not have guts to do, the Japanese did. A huge line of warships
including several carriers and transports crossed the Indian sea,
the Suez canal, the Mediterranean sea and the French coast and
landed in England. When most of the work was done, the germans
joined in, landing in the west of England. The UK surrendered to Japan, which
annexed the country and all its non occupied colonies.
Denmark and Sweden are german puppets, Norweian government is in exile.
Observe that India was conquered by Japan before the UK.
33. Observe the line of Japanese warships crossing the Mediterranean.
They navigate in both directions.
4. The map of Africa is quite peculiar as well, since Japan
owns a few parts taken to the UK. In the west of Africa, Liberia,
on the allied side, has conquered some provinces of Vichy France
and Japan. Vichy France is at war with Italy and Germany and their
puppets.
5. Let´s return to England for a moment. There, in the province of
Dover, a Bulgarian Infantry unit resists, surrounded by the Japanese
and under a rain of german bombs.
Bulgaria went to Exile when I conquered it. Could anybody explain
me how is it possible this unit is there? An expeditionary
Bulgarian force integrated in the English army? But shouldn´t
it dissapear once the UK has ceased to exist?
In America the Japanese also own some UK former colonies,
like the Falkland Islands, Jamaica and others. I have seen several
Japanese warships in the Caribbean.
At the moment the US and the URSS are out of the war. They
must be growing and preparing huge armies. When they both wake up,
and they will, the war may become apocalyptical. Russia will be
attacked from all sides, from the west by Germany and its puppets,
from Turkey and Rumania by Italy, from its entire asian border
by Japan and its puppets. The US should expect Japan to come
from the west and from the Caribbean sea, where they already
have bases.
Since in the north I have the mighty germans and in the South and
in the west and south now I have the mighty Japanese, I plan to
concentrate on my border with with the URSS.
Since I have read there is a bug that makes Germany never
declare war to the URSS, I may start the war myself.
Once the URSS is obliterated we will have to deal with
the US...
Which faction will dominate the world? Any bets?
