1.) Tilting the camera is kinda annoying right now. it could use improvement.

2.) A resource map mode might be helpful.

3.) it would be nice to have some sort of menu for customization of work assignment. Right now it seams you have to go through each colonist manually.

4.) Point 3 would be especially important because the automatic assignment could use work. I had free slots in the research lab for instance, but scientists working in the grocery. I had botanists in the labs with free slots in fungal farms and I had a botanist in the infirmary while a medic was in a fungal farm. That was just 1 dome.

All of these suggestions are spot-on.

1. PLEASE add key bindings for camera tilt and let us control the tilt speed. I want to zoom in more often to enjoy the art assets and animations, but it's so tedious doing it with Mouse 3.

2. A resource map mode that highlights surface metal would be really nice. Smaller deposits can be a pain to find.

3/4. A more feature-rich colonist manager is badly needed. I want to see a sortable and filterable list of my colonists.
 
1. In addition to the Ressource Overview for 1 SOL, give us a Statistic for 5 SOL (or 10?).
Why? To get more oversight, what the maintenance costs are. We need to know, if we have to activate a 2nd work shift in our Buildings, which causes more trouble one can think of = more People needed? More Oxygen/Water/Power - need more oversight ;)
+/- Storage of the Advanced Resources over 5 SOL is a must i think.
 
For me, they could fix 1 by just making WASD dedicated to strafing the camera around, and the Middle Mouse Button making the mouse dedicated to pivoting. I'm always tilting in opposite directions because I'm trying to scroll the map with my keyboard while controlling the camera with my mouse.
 
5. Anytime you are moving the map using WASD, and rotating the map, either with Q or E, or with the mouse, it does a simultaneous tilt. This is highly annoying.

6. The camera rotation using QE/mouse is also backwards from the direction using Cities:Skylines. That can be fixed, but flipping it flips the up/down rotation too, so no matter what, camera rotation is going to be awkward and difficult compared to other Paradox titles.

I agree with all these especially number 4. I had botanist working the extractor and geologist working the farm in the same dome. I think 70% of the time the right persons fills the job, but for the rest it's annoyingly frustrating. Overall there needs to be a window for colonist management. What domes they live in, where they work, etc. When you have a small colony it's fine, but when you have 100s of them, with current ui you give up managing them and just pray they go where they should. Even a setting that only allows certain specializations or non specialist to work certain buildings would be nice. Right now our only option is not allow certain people into the dome using the filter, which I think is working?

Overall love the game!
 
One quality of Life item would to add wires to the deconstruction option. I destroyed the building yet I can't rid of previous laid down wires.
 
5 Save choices in every menu. I already mastered clicking sequence to change mission to Russia, logo to Serenity and commander to hydro engineer.

6 Add ability to pan colony map. With all this popups it's frustrating to play on the edge of the map. We don't want to see center of the map in the center of the screen, we want to see our colony here. Even if it's on the edge of the map. (see picture)

7 Add button to dismiss passenger from rocket, in final overview. And SAVE final overview state. Reading through 5 pages of colonists and then loosing all because of clicking to "back" is not fun at all. And in multipage interface missclicking on "back" is common.

You can pan the map. You can either hold the middle mouse button or hold alt and then press W or S.

You can also dismiss individual passengers in the review menu.

Could you show the global map panned like on my picture? Because I can't pan it at all.
