Summary

A foreign ruler was installed by faction demand on my vassal's title - making me lose the title

Description

See screenshot. I am King Eudes of Germany. I spent about 1030 Piety to gain a claim on the Duchy of Bavaria. Then I went to war against the King of Bavaria to press my claim. I won the war, and granted the Duchy to a local Bavarian noble. A few years later I noticed that the Duchy was no longer part of my realm. Looking at the title's history revealed that the foreign king was installed as the duchy's holder by faction demand.

Needless to say this is extremely annoying as a player. I spent 1000+ Piety for the claim, and fought a huge war for that title, only to lose it like that in a way that I have no control over. My vassal didn't even ask for my help against that faction.

Factions shouldn't be allowed to install claimants that would cause the land to pass from the realm. Or, if that is necessary, then at least allow higher lieges (especially if player) to be able to intervene in the faction's demand.

Steps to reproduce

1. Be a king.
2. Have a duke vassal whose duchy title a neighboring king has claim to.
3. Trigger a faction demand on that duke to install that foreign king as the new duke.
4. That duke gives in to the demand and you lose all the land from your realm.

Hello there! Thank you for the report. With your help, we have now confirmed the issue and added it to our database! I would also like to ask for your save file with this issue so that we can more easily reproduce this!

Hello. Unfortunately the issue occurred long ago in my campaign and I no longer have a save file from that time. However, I am attaching my save file from the campaign, where you can view the title history of the Duchy of Bavaria. After the faction installed its claimant, causing my realm to lose the duchy, I used console commands using the Debug mode to grant the title back to myself.
