I've had a glitch where instead of all my units attacking all together at once, they attack separately. (i.e when I had 12 divisions in 4 armies and ordered all of them to attack the same province, they all had separate battles, each being lost one by one because they weren't fighting together.)

This is an old bug from ARMA and should be fixed by now. You´re playing 1.04 KXOS with no mods?

I've edited parts of the AI, no mods, 1.04 (don't know what KXOS is)

The cheksum. You can chek it in the top-right part of the screen, in the opening menu screen (the one with Tutorial, Single player etc.).

If you're going to mod the game files I can recommend you to use a mod enabler like jsgme. It allows safely to add and remove modded files by a single click. For testing purposes is that very helpful. You can also use several mods (a new map, a tech mod, an interface mod, more sprites or icons) at the same time. If one of your installs is faulty you don't have to start from scratch with a fresh install but instead you simply deinstall them one by one to discover the faulty install. It's also very useful for the temporary installation of beta patches. ;)
