Hello Neocore workers and fans of King Arthur,

I got this wonderful game as a gift on steam and have loved playing it. However, just today when I played it, the introduction video had no sound - music or the voice over. At first I thought that this was just because I had accidentally turned off the sound. So I opened the Options menu. There was absolutely no writing there at all. I could see the tabs for where Audio, Gameplay and Video are supposed to appear, but none of the writing itself.

When I tried playing the game, again I could see no writing on the quests or the tutorial pop-up window. I've tried restarting my computer but that was to no avail. Has anyone else had this problem? If so, does anyone know the solution?

Also, I don't know if this is related, but Steam did not to my knowledge automatically update King Arthur like it usually does with Mount and Blade Warband/all my other games. Could this be part of the problem?

Thank you very much in advance.

Please try the following:

- Go to the Games Library in your Steam account

- Right-click on King Arthur

- Properties / Local Files / Verify integrity of game game cache...

If it's ready, please test the issue again.

If the issue still persists, delete all local game content (Properties / Local Files / Delete Local Game Content...) and reinstall the game again. A few others who had this issue had to reinstall the game 2-3 times to make Steam download it correctly for some reason.

If it still does not solve the problem, please write to support@kingarthurthewargame.com
