will KA2 have changeable hot keys? I tried the demo for ka1 and I just could not get into it because of the camera controls. so I never bought it. from the youtube LPs, the game looks really fun. it can't be that hard right? I just don't understand the reason for the restriction. why can't you guys make the hot keys as robust as the total war games? unit and camera control is very important during battles.

I just want to get this question out of the way. whether I should keep an eye on KA2 or just forget about it.

In King Arthur you can change the hot keys but only in the battle. You can find the “Controls” in the Options. Good news, that in the sequel you can change them in the main menu as well and also you'll be able to adjust much more things regarding camera controls. But if you let us know what you want to be able to change exactly, maybe we can make it even more user-friendly with your help.

I would love it if the camera in ka2 allows us to look up and down. for example, the camera angle when on top of steep hills is just horrible. top half of my screen were showing me the sky. really hard to enjoy the game when that happens. please allow us to look down. would love to watch the battle in a better angle.

was the changeable camera controls patched in? I don't remember anything like it in the demo. I know really old gamers are use to the inverse vertical mouse movements, but I simply don't understand why you guys didn't allow us to change that.

You can rotate the camera angle vertically in the battles of King Arthur 1 by holding the middle mouse button and moving the mouse up-and-down.

You can change the camera controls when you are fighting a battle. Hit Esc, that brings up the battle menu, choose Options, then Gameplay. You can change the settings here (mouse sensitivity, scroll sensitivity, inverted mouse scroll, rotate/strafe camera) and you can also choose from different camera modes - try them all and find out which is best for you. If you choose Controls, you can change the hotkeys that control the camera.

These options are part of the game from the first day, and were / and are till today included in the Demo of King Arthur as well. One tutorial message in the Demo (and in the complete game as well) gives you info about this during the first tutorial battle.
