A question and a concern

Hi all, still new to CORE and learning; so what I wanted to ask is whether there is a Mechanized Infantry unit type in CORE or not and which tech leads to it. I am still in '39 in my SU game and I don't see anything looking like MEC on the horizon yet...

So this was the question, but I also have one concern: Germany according to the 10 spies I have infiltrated it with only has 3 ARM divisions by "Danzig or War". Is this normal and are they going to be any challenge during Barbarossa? I am playing on Medium difficulty as proposed. Thanks.

1941 Armored Division Reorganization (in the Armor & Artillery tab) activates the Mechanized unit type. They are very nice.

And Germany having only 3 ARM divisions in 1939 is both normal for CORE and historical. Between 1939 and 1941 the AI will build more armored units, so yes, Germany will be more of a challenge by then. Assuming you wait that long ...

Thanks, yes I will wait that long, I am playing historically at least till the war starts. Of course those damn reds winning all the time in the Spanish civil war ruin that every single time, but anyway, I have learned to ignore that part of the world and pretend it isn't there or that the Nationalists won.
