O.k. I did it and played Sibir (Yes, it´s fun!
). Now I had the 'colonist event'. As my state religion was sunni, but almost all provinces were pagan, I decided against sending the colonists into adjacent areas to set up colonies/trade-posts and converted my home provinces instead. I didn´t notice any positive effects yet, though (I especially expected to get more taxes). Did I make the wrong decision? Is it generally better to establish tradeposts/colonies when colonists arrive even when I get them only through events (which means I will likely not be able to upgrade the colonies/tradeposts later)?
