hello, I just have a point to bring up on Forced Training, a mind set if you will, about a family being able to "train their line" as far as the warrior stat goes.

So, to preface my request and my points, I am playing a Targ game where I have raised my children into adulthood and they are at that "Early 20's and breeding" phase. These kids have already inherited dragon stone, with the lords of the aforementioned are my heir, and their first born is my grandson and 2nd heir. From an in game perspective, I am the King of Westeros, and my grandson has become my squire, yet I cannot move to teach him in the ways of swordplay.

I just find it strange that a grandfather who has brought their grandchild into his home could not train him into being a warrior. Maybe this event trigger needs some reworking to allow mentor positions

You're not the kid's liege, their father, Lord of Dragonstone is. If you were still Lord of Dragonstone and your heir was in your court as a landless courtier, then I believe you could force train him.
