I have begun another aar, as the all powerful Byzantine Empire (I'll call it the Roman Empire, well because it is). I'm playing though the ages 1066-1419 so i can move on EU2, but that is another story.....

Watch as Byzantium defies all history textbooks and takes the word Roman farther than 1453, watch and you will be amazed as Romans beat the snot out of Arabs!

Intend to reconquer the Roman Empire, but first crushing the Turks and Muslims so i may have peace on my borders. It's funny really, people actually think Byzantium will fall in 1453 of something like that, i laugh at them.

However the only problem is..........I don't know how to post pictures along with posts. How to do it would be great, just giving the people would they want, right?

Anyway if someone could help me how, the faster this aar can go up and running.

Take the screenshots you want (F11), they are saved as .bmp files in your CK directory, convert them to .jpg (paint can do it), the reason being they will then be about a tenth of the size. Go to an image hosting site, for example www.imageshack.com , upload your image, copy the piece of code called "direct link to image" and paste it in your post surrounded by [image][/image] tags.

So i put it in paint and save it then copy and paste it into the post, and that's it. Right?

pretty much, except you have to have to have it hosted somewhere like imageshack.. then you paste the URL in your post and the picture will show

As i have wasted enough time, there has to be another wat in doing it, I cannot find how to upload an image, let alone where to go. I beg, can someone be kind enough to give the exact address to host a picture, i'm really excited in starting this blasted aar, I wanna get it moving!!!

See this http://forum.paradoxplaza.com/forum/showthread.php?t=234860 thread, the poster had the same question.

1. make a screenshot with F11
2. Open it it with, f.e. paint
3. Save file as a .jpeg file
4. Upload it at www.imageshack.com or www.photobucket.com
5. When you upload it at photobucket.com, below the uploaded pictures you see 3 lines, copy the last line which has URL in front of it, and then past that line into your post.

Go to the lower right corner of the white area, you then see a arrow, which looks something like <-> but then diagonal, with that you can make the white area smaller, untill it is completely gone.

EDIT
Your other screenshot should be bigger to.

When you have upload it from photobucket, choose the line IMG, that is the last line, below the picture in another post I said the URL line, but that was wrong.

I do it with ctrl and c of the picture I want to show, then ctrl and n to make a new picture and then ctrl and v. Then you have the picture in the upper left corner and the white only right and under the picture. Now you make the white smaller when you take the under right corner and give it until the picture. Then the picture should be only the one you want without white.

Use Adobe Photoshop..:p
