Since the tooltips button is the same as the tooltips overlay button (pressing vs holding), it is very easy to randomly turn off or on the tooltips, even if you didn't intend to. If you just want to go into the tooltip overlay, and constantly end up turning on/off the tooltips in general, it can get a bit annoying in the long run. It would be nice if there was a setting in the same place to "lock" the tooltip setting to whatever it is set at, to prevent this accidental change of the setting.

Or perhaps it could even be in the options.

Personally I prefer to always have the tooltips on, but I keep turning them off by accident when I go into the tooltips overlay.

You just need to swap a long press for the cursor and a quick press for tooltips. The problem would be solved. Bro, here at least the game was made normally, so that everything worked, now one can only dream of such trifles.

I would also add the ability to turn off tutorial tips, because after 200 hours of play they are almost not needed anymore. And just start to get annoying, 10 learning posts and 1 useful one.
