Lately I have been having alot of trouble finding a good MP game on VNET:(. I think that some of us US players should get together and set up a group (Like the DEG). If anyone is interested post in this thread or email me at JECH12198@AOL.COM I really have never put together an mp clan or group. So I will need alot of help and such, thanks!! Hopefully we can make this work:)
 
Definitely would be interested in such a group -- a regular group of US players at regularly scheduled times to play along the lines of the Dedicated European Group. I have looked at their rules and they are quite good, we could use them as the model.

Count me in, and I can help you with setup, etc.

Thanks dude;). I really like DEGS rules and such. We would have to play with the latest patch of course, in this case 1.05b. One rule I would like to have is an annaul Tech sharing day. Instead of no tech shares between anyone, we could have it where you could share one tech with one country each "tech day". This day would probaly Janaury 1st. Hopefully this can garner more interest.
 
I would also be interested but I would need to know times. Did you have any regular times in mind? Also August would probably be out for me as I am moving and would most likely not have time until after the first week of september. But it is a great idea.

I am avb to play most week nights after 9:00 PM to midnight or 1:00 am and most weekends any time
 
I will be gone for most of the balance of this month, but will be ready to start first thing in September. If you guys get a big enough group, go ahead and start without me, and I will just jump in to the 2nd game or take over an open country in September.
 
I will be available sometime in early September (i am relocating and all my belongings are in shipment now). I will check back then.

Yea I am from Pittsburgh. Huge Pitt and Steelers fan. I live in Lawrenceville (yea go ahead laugh at me:D I know I live in a ghetto

Anyway I am going to Maine for the next week, so when I get back I will email all of you and we can try to set up times and dates.

Go Steelers!!! I am a huge fan myself, going back to the first Super Bowl in 74. I have tix for this years season finale up the road at Baltimore. They better win it all this year or it is time to send Bill Cowher packing.

Jech, have you ever checked out the discussion board at Steelerslive.com? They have some great posters and excellent Steelers debate over there. With Kordell now history (thankfully) I am intrigued as to see who becomes the new most hated and controversial Steeler on that board.
 
No doubt we need one or more groups working on our time zones. I'm out for now since I'm currently pulling 70+ hours a week. But after mid-month my hours will stabilize. Will follow you guys and chat so I can get in eventually when its good for the games running.

When I'm not busy I'll play. When I am busy the women around this house (They like those triple checks) let me use my little free time just how I choose (so I'll still play, but scheduling could be rough)

And oh yeah I boo'ed the Steelers for years. Had lot's of room mates and buddies who who were BIG fans. Had to have some conflict and bets at game time. But during the comeback years I've grown to love them. Hell, for ages I've known more about the team and it's players than many "fan"

I have road runner cable so a fast connection
but my system PIII 512MB win XP pro 100 GB HD running Zone Alarm PRO has issuse with MP (I can not get Zone Alarm to let HOI work I need to turn it off )I would like to keep Zone on as messenger drives me crazy without the firewall on
anbody know how to turn off messenger on Win XP pro?
should I purchase a router instead? I have never been able to play MP tried a few times

BTW time zone is eastern and I should be quiting my job soon (wife is starting grad school need to stay with the baby :D )

I am working in cleveland (I live in columbus ) and will not be home until friday I will try it when I get home

I just bought a linksys router that I need to set up as well

i will post if i have any problems
