A fun game
I was inspired after visiting the armymuseum in Stockholm to play a swedish campaign in Hoi 2 Arma. My goal was to build up an army good enought to beat the Soviet. What I also had in mind was to be one of the first countries in the world to produce nukes. But as it cost high IC to build a nuclear base , I'd have to wait a long time to produce my first nukes at all. But heres the vital part of what I did to create my empire, maybe someone else here has tried it. I joined the finnish winter war, and I bought Finlands whole army for loads of resurces. As Stalin sues for Peace it doesent matter if Finland has no army at all. During the word war I kept building factories and researching. When Germany starts to loose the war , I declared war and occupied Norway and Denmark as fast as possible. And after that I went in deeper in the third Reich. The provinces I gained in the war nearly gave me the oppurtnity to finally produce nukes, but it wasnt after I annexed Portugal and Spain. And now I could produce nukes. Sov declared war on allies, and they were fighting in China and in Middle east. With all of my IC, I made a mistake. I focused on playing a definsive role and build forts in all sweden, and So I did. But last night as i was drinking and getting drunk I loaded my game and played, and I thought maybe I should play an offensive role instead. The problem was that my army was very small , maybe around 80 units (in 1955. And Soviet had about 670 units). So I joined the allies and dropped atleast 10 nukes in Soviets most important provinces. When I attacked with my forces I almost immediately won every battle because of their dissent penalty hit. And now here I am, with all this power. Now I can easily beat the Soviet army as they now have maybe have around 200 units and i have around 100.
