I suggest having a Zoo feature similar to the Grand Archive. It could collect fauna from across the galaxy and feature a botanical garden for flora. Both fauna and flora would be the equivalent of specimens, each offering bonuses. I also believe there needs to be a market for specimens, fauna, and flora.
