AAR mod, what happen?

After seeing the sticky on Paradox not being related or linked to AAR, and its subsequent sticky topics being deleted, may I ask as to why its all gone?

I'm NOT, repeat NOT looking as to a debate as to why Paradox is reacting this way, but for the official reason why its locked down.

Mods, I'll accept a PM and this topic disappearing, since I don't know who to contact in this regard, as a total lock down seems heavy handed unless legal issues are involved.

Yes, I am actually interested too - what could be done so terrible to have Paradox crack down on the thing. Based on the stick notice, it seems indeed some legal issue, something about the modmakers claiming licence or copyright.

This is honestly very frustrating. That mod was very important for community and that sort of treatment is a bit of cold-shoulder.
Greece improvement lockdown is weird too, as that mod was completely separate from AAR, just compatible.
Will other compatible mods be closed too?

I'd like to know why the Greece Improvement Mod was deleted. I think it's because it had the name of a banned mod in it's title (it was going to one day be incorporated into it, although it was never formally a part of it, it was always it's own thing). I feel like a mistake was made, since all threads related to so-and-so mod were deleted, it was probably not even checked what the threads were about.
It causes worry for myself that other mods may just disappear at random.

It's kind of sad: it was just a mod a guy created to better enhance the gameplay of his home country, with the help of fellow Greek players, and they got caught in the crossfire of something else.

I am very disappointed, and for this I would like to know the real reasons. These episodes are the ones that do banish people from a game. I hope that there are possibilities to resolve this incident.

I do wonder what happens to DH itself. It promises gameplay from 1914 to 1964 but now it seems that is not going to happen.

EDIT: Ah, now I know why it got banned. Can't link of course but it's Ticket 197.

The Greek Improvement Mod was deleted/closed because the thread only seemed to be discussing why the AAR mod was banned.
