Since the older one was closed, I open this new one thread to discuss AAR ideas for the upcoming game.

For me, an AAR about the Crusades in the Levant, with a lot of references to obscurantism and myths when crossing the lands of the heathen...

And for me it is going to be "finish the finns", a swedish AAR in Österland. And not with any references to Guillous books... :p

AAR discussion = good :)
"I wanna betatest" = bad :D

I can imagine some pretty amazing possibilities for a CK AAR. Maybe I should do a prequel to my ongoing Knight's AAR? (should hopefully be finished by the time any beta CK AAR are allowed... ;))

Hm...

I'll read them to get me in the Crusade mood. :D

CK AARs. Oh glory. Oh goodie. Oh line them up. What should I do first...

I want to really mess with the historical bloodlines of all the French houses, and then write about the consequences.:)

I'm also thinking that writing about a "real" crusade will be a wonderful exercise.

And - there is another thing that'll be pretty cool... Imagine doing a full CK AAR, then convert your game and continue in EU2 :)

Wonder if there is a history log in CJ and if so will it be carried over to EU II.

Valdemar Sejr.....drools....

I've now developed a hankering to do an AAR from the POV of a resident of Jerusalem, describing wave after wave of failed crusades.;)

What about Byzantine Empire? after all, they are in the cross road of Crusades. I think that I will play as POV of Constantinoplian on the Crusade, especially in fourth Crusade. Also, I could be a "scholar" hearing from returing crusade and interpreting what they said like "Heathen used Genie to crush 100000000 soldiers in Edesse"

Hmm. I look forward to bringing the enlightened wisdom of Vladimir Monomakh of Kiev to life in a Kievan Rus AAR....
