Although I like the changes to the 1.03 patch, I noticed that i have aborted out of the program a number of times lately. Never did it with the earlier versions of the game anything i should be checking. I have the latest nvidia patch and my computer is...

amd 1.6 GHZ, 512Mb ddr 2100, t3 nvidia card.

The Bink player is known to cause some problems.
Try and disable it by renaming your AVI folder to AVI_back.
