Hello, it would be nice if you could update me regarding a small detail. Been quite a while since I played it and I haven't got the game around just now so unfortunately I can't look it up by myself.
When the AI designs a new level of tank in the game (i.e 'light'/'medium'/'heavy'/'superheavy'), will he generally or even ever go back to use a lighter tank type, but which is more advanced?

This is kind of important if you want the sprites to look as historically correct as possible.

I am not sure what you mean.
Do you mean a single developement sequence? Like Basic Light Tanks -> B Medium T -> B Heavy T -> imp. LT -> IMT -> IHT -> ALT -> AMT -> AHT -> Super HT

That would of course be too long and unrealistic. It's more like
BLT -> ILT -> ALT
BMT -> IMT -> AMT
BHT -> IHT -> AHT -> SHT

Well, I meant like this for example: BLT - BMT - ILT. It was just an idea I had for setting up the sequence of tank sprites according to the general development of main battle tanks and forget all about them being "heavy". Heavy in the Soviet case would be represented by T-34/85 for example.

This would not feel good if the AI then suddenly started building ALT, represented by a T-26.

Obviously though, the AI doesn't often do it like that (which would be good news)?
