"Activate the original game" key activation

So, i don't think paradox have anything to do about this at all, but i'm looking for advice .

i buyed a key for ck2 holy fury from g2p , it was described as " steam key , with no region limit " , but when i try to activate the key , steam give me a error message of " first activate the original game" . i've ck 2 on steam, with some expansion already .

i'm already trying to contact g2p support , but i may have done something wrong with steam or paradox , any suggestion?

G2A are not authorised dealers for us. I’ve never heard of G2P.

It seems clear you’ve been sold a bad or inappropriate key though. See if you can get a refund.

g2play, they are a website that alow ppl to sell keys , the seller was "SoftwareKingdom" .

i'm in waiting for the seller to respond .

i didn't pay 2€ for the protection(they have an assicuration sistem were they pay back if there are problem with the keys\products) , so is unlikely i will get the refound , but i'm seeing if i can atleast have them removing the fraud , if it is .
