I just have to say, it is a pain to manually move all the files to each respective folder, would it be possible to add some sub directories? Couldnt be too hard. Simply do this:

Crate the directory structure of EU2, (Outside the real directory of course)

DB/Events
DB/Leaders
DB/monarchs

etc... and put the files in there, and zip the whole thing. Just tell the players to unzip in the main eu2 directory (the one containing eu2.exe) and the files will be copied into the sub-folders automatically.

The reason I say this? Well, after copying all the files manually into eu2, the game got corrupted, after trying to load a game, it always crashed!

Obviously, I did somethig wrong, but making the whole process automatic, would stop this!

I have the same problem. I have tried to install the files into all the right places.. leader files into leader folder, monarch files into monarch folder ect.ect. But it still crashes. The problem is that some of those files are corrupted. I think there is an id problem somewhere. The game works fine on loading, but if you save and reload the game it crashes on loading.

Ah, yes. I was able to start the game, but when I load a game from within a game, it crashes. I guess this was never tested, since the EEP guys are hardcore "no loading" people, :D

Nono, I played 1.03 first a lot, and it worked perfect. Then I installed EEP, and it all went nach helvet. I uninstalled, deleted all EEP files, reinstalled EU2, installed 1.03 patch again, and it once again worked fine. Playing 1.04 now, its working fine, but I dont want to touch those EEP files again before more playtesting is done, and a more intelligent unzipping system is created.

This is also a bug in EU2 itself, I had it with 1.03 GC (no EEP). Yes, I have everything set-up the right way :p

You'll hav eit too... soon ;)

tried your fix crook. The problem is something else. I think it has something to do with the connection between EEP and the Nordic version of EU2. Since I have the nordic version and I assume Gallblære (gall-bladder in norwegian) has the nordic version as well.

But I find that hard to believe also, as the EEP only have data updates, its not like they are using anything that wasnt shipped with EU2 to scandinavia. Does the nordic version have slightly different data, meaning the id's are different etc? I wouldnt think so. Funny thing is, I get a data crashes all the time with 1.04, and I had none with 1.03! (No, I have not installed EEP!)
