I noticed Network Extensions uses its own item classes for roads. However, it's an entire mod with additional features. My own item classes could be very helpful, but I'd rather not bloat the mods list just for that. Can item classes be encapsulated in assets, or is a mod strictly required for it to be referenced by the assets?
