Adding WWI as a scenario

Please figure out how to add the 1897, or 1912 start dates as a scenario to HoI3. I am an absolute WWI fanatic and would love to be able to play out that scenario without having to follow the arcane install procedure from the fan based scenario.

Also, please figure out a way to release a Linux port for HoI2 and HoI3.

Try 1914 mod

Follow the link http://forum.paradoxplaza.com/forum/forumdisplay.php?f=290 and you can get mod transforming HOI2 into WWI.

I'd love to see the WWI scenario included in HOI 3 as well, although I am not sure that there is time left before release, or of there is a will to do it.

If they try to make a ww1 scenario they would have to make hundreds of new files

It does look like the modders will have to do the leg work. The WWI mod has already done heaps of this. Can't paradox use some of their effort, with due medals awarded?

well most gaming companies appreciate mods because they make the games playable.

that could happen but it will lose the paradox-looking professionalty of the game.

i cant really explain it actually but mods will surely come out thanks to the easily moddable game
