After I bought the season pass the game keeps hard crashing mid game

The only thing that changed in the past few weeks is that I bought the season pass. It only happens with Victoria 3. Before, when the game crashed it didn't freeze the entire pc.

if you have Windows 11 24H2 then you'll be experiencing the same problem that AFAIK all users with that version are.

Some affected users have definitely seen that help them with this issue. Do try this first as it has a decent record of success!





Also make sure your Nvidia driver is the latest.





And if nothing else helps, In your Steam Library right-click on this game and choose Properties. In the Launch Options line, paste this in there:
-vulkan
Performance will likely be worse but users are reporting it stops the PC freezes!
