After the release of Galagtic paragons and first contact on ps4, the Zroni precurser digsites now only spawn in systems that are unoccupied and not surveyed by the player. meaning the dig sites spawn across the entire galaxy by the time you finish all of them, or alternatively you are unable to finish the precursor chain if no more planets that fulfill those criteria remain.
