After "Press any key to continue", the screen of game is completely black

Description​

I start the game, I skip the videos, I see the "Press any key to continue", and I press a key and then the screen is completely black. Music is still playing on the background, and I can see the mouse pointer.
The game used to work before, and then it stopped working at some point. I'm playing the game on XBOX Game Pass.
I'm using the latest version available on XBOX Game pass.

Steps to reproduce​

Just start the game and press key on "Press any key to continue"
