This thread is to discuss Teutonic Order and Livonian Order.

Since it would be strange to see a Protestant surviving Teutonic and/or Livonian Order, they should receive a counterreform in action B:

Event 3620:
action_c = {
name = "ACTIONNAME3620C" #Die-Hard Independence
command = { type = stability value = -3 }
command = { type = treasury value = -500 }
command = { type = religion which = catholic counterreform }
command = { type = domestic which = ARISTOCRACY value = 3 }
command = { type = domestic which = INNOVATIVE value = -3 }
command = { type = domestic which = SERFDOM value = 3 }
command = { type = trigger which = 3472 } #POL: The Fate of the Livonian Order
command = { type = trigger which = 3222 } #SWE: The Fate of the Livonian Order
command = { type = trigger which = 3292 } #DAN: The Fate of the Livonian Order
command = { type = trigger which = 3409 } #RUS: The Fate of the Livonian Order
}

Event 209012:
action_b = {
name = "ACTIONNAME209012B" #Continue as the Order
command = { type = stability value = -3 }
command = { type = treasury value = -100 }
command = { type = religion which = catholic counterreform }
command = { type = domestic which = ARISTOCRACY value = 1 }
command = { type = domestic which = INNOVATIVE value = -1 }
command = { type = domestic which = SERFDOM value = 1 }
command = { type = domestic which = LAND value = 2 }
command = { type = domestic which = QUALITY value = 2 } #To balance things a bit
command = { type = sleepevent which = 381001 } #LIV: Secularization of Prussia -I-
}

Why?

If either the livonian or the teutonic order chose the die-hard option in case of AI, they will hve several strong neighbours with cores on them that will in most games mean that sooner of later they are annexed.

If a player plays them being catholic gives enough missionaries to convert the few protestant provinces without the need to be counterreform catholiic.

There is always a chance that the order will survive the 17th and 18th centuries ;)

Regarding the Livonian Order: reformation events took place in 1530, and country quickly converted to Protestantism. When the event occurs in 1560, the order has two options: either to become a secular Lutheran Courland or to continue to exist as an order, probably reinforced by the Jesuits. If we leave it Catholic, then AI will have the choice to go back to Protestantism, compared to the non-alternative of the counterreform.
