Hey u EU2 players´, I have played a lot of EU2 and some EU3, question is, what is AGCEEP? a mod? what does it exactly do with the game? does it makes game harder (read: BETTER)?

Let's just say I haven't played anything BUT agceep for the last couple of years

It's a general mod that adds tons of events, balances things out, reshufles cultures and cores, fixes leaders and explorers...

Its an AI that can challenge me as a player that will kick me when I'm down and make me cry.

It also has a lot of events and produces a more historical version that any other version of the game Ive seen.

i was just wondering, after downloading and installing agceep numerous times i still keep getting the same error after i have selected a nation and campaign to play in saying that it cannot open the file with the "reformation events" i have checked numerous times and the file is present but even when i uninstall and reinstall i keep getting it, any suggestions?

have you overwritten vanilla files?
if the answer is yes you have 2 choices:

1- open scenario and in the .eug file change paths of files.
I.E. include = "AGCEEP\scenarios\inc\Reformation_Events.inc"
must be include = C:\Programmi\Paradox Entertainment\Europa Universalis 2\AGCEEP\Scenarios\inc\Reformation_Events.inc" or what else path are those files
you must do the same in these folders: scenarios\inc and DB\events.txt

2-in EU2 create AGCEEP folder containing scenarios, events and db

thanks mate its workin now ;D

one weird thing is on the game initiation loading screen i have to use the windows key to go back to desktop, then go back onto the game in the taskbar otherwise the game doesnt work >.< weird eh? but my europas always been a bit buggy so what the hell.

There is a known problem with intro video (while EU2 is loading). Maybe you experience such problem. Renaming or removing AVI folder should fix it.
