I don't see the connection -the AI will decide which religion to follow based upon all it's provinces (I suspect combined tax value of all provinces per religion) with *perhaps* a slight "bonus" for the capital..

it is certainly not a decision purely based on the capital.

That is indeed very odd... I just checked the event, it has the right commands... maybe I have corrected the event after it triggered in NO. I'll edit the save and make Lothian anglosaxon.

you can change it right back again- that fool of a FAL didn't have the province (he left the Scots free IIRC)
at the time of the event, so it's his own damn fault
