With the release of 1.1 and it integrating many features from Conclave and Horse Lords we thought it was a good time to host another AAR competition. For those of you who do not know what an AAR is, it is an "After Action Report" in which you write down the details of your game in a story like manner. The winners will be deiced by myself and the others in the team and we have some nice prizes as well:

• 1st a custom character, dynasty and coat of arms to rule in a province in Essos that is not occupied by a lore character already as well as custom valyrian steel sword!
• 2nd a custom character, dynasty and coat of arms to rule in a province in Essos that is not occupied by a lore character already
• 3rd a custom character, dynasty and coat of arms in any Essos ruler's court

Preferably post any of your AARs to the Paradox Forum AAR Section

A couple of rules for the prizes:

• If more canon information surfaces in the future that displaces a winner canon shall take precedence, but we will keep the winner in the mod in a different place
• We reserve the right to reject inappropriate sword names
• The created characters can have some relatives along with them
• If your designed character is too strong then we will nerf them

So if someone wants to write one, he has to post it in the section you linked and give a message through conversations to you? I wanted to make sure I'm not getting something wrong.

You don't have to post it there but it is preferable so all the AARs stay in one place on the forums, as for messaging me that is only if you want it to be listed in this thread for easy visibility

Are jokey AARs okay? Like, if I were to play as John Cena, Lord of The Ring?

We'd rather not have a complete micky take AARs but some jokes here and there are ok.

As long as the character you will have as a reward would be named John Dankmeme with Pepe as CoA.
Of course, House Dankmeme's motto would be "Jet fuel can't melt steel beams.".

Surprisingly enough we might tweak that name

This is awesome (and it made me finally make my first post after 3 years of lurking on the forums). I'm looking forward to getting mine up and running over the next couple days. I just have one question before starting: Are sub-mods like Challenge to a Duel okay, or do you want us to only use vanilla AGOT?

You can use small submods like that if you want, especially as that one will help to write a story with actually having duels you would want in your character's life

As knuckey said, submods are fine its just how good a story you can tell with them!

Does the AAR have to be completed to be considered when the mods decide the winner? I've been having way less time to write than I'd like.

It does not have to be complete but obviously the more there is for us to read to judge the better

I do not know when the next one will be, there was like a 3 year gap between the last one and this one but I hope to do the next one at a less ridiculous interval than that lol
At the moment there are no plans for another one any time soon though
