Sorry if this is old stuff I'm asking but I am new to the CK forum. It's been ages I played this game and I thought it had great potential but what I rather disliked was how the AI instantly annexed all rebellious vassals. It is very unrealistic for medieval times that you strip a vassal of all titles and lands and gamewise it lead to a quick elimination of all important dynasties. Has there been found any way to fix this?

I don't see the point of giving such large prestige losses that the AI needs to hurry to fix that loss before his prestige plummets. I can certainly understand giving titles to sons and even the youngest of sons, but the fact the AI can revoke titles without much of a fight is quite a shame.

Hardcoded, so no. And the AI will revoke titles of even its most loyal vassals. Basic rule:
-all ruler sons will get land, and
-the ruler will always try to get as many provinces in his demesne as his intrigue allows.

These two combined mean that any subordinate dynasty will eventually disappear, unless the liege loses his land somehow, in which case the new ruling dynasty will eventually do the same.
