AI Controlled Tech!

Ive asked this on every source mod for HOI2 (including AOD...)... What about having a little button similar to automatic sliders that allows you to set the tech onto AI controlled and it will use the AI files for your country and research what it feels like and you never need to look at tech screen again...

That would be awesome =)

I would rather have a button that will find the fastest tech team, when you select a tech to research. That way you dont have to spend time finding out whos the best choice. But your idea is good too.

Well imagine playing 2 countries at once (Which i love doing) with such a big tech tree like IRON CROSS its a lot of work

With HOI2-DD-ARM it was very minimal work and no thinking involved with tech research.

If tech could be automated it would make my job a lot easier since i can focus on production, war, diplomacy, spies instead.

Yea it is fun sometimes i play 3 countries too.

Bascially you put the game into WINDOW mode and open the game 2 or 3 times then start a LAN game and join it with the other windows...

You get 1 game but in control of a few countries.

You could play as AXIS and ALLIES and see who wins etc =)

The only downside is the effort it takes with tech........ Especially in IRON CROSS... however its not that bad once you get to know the tree properly.

"HoI2 research assistant" i can think of how to select tech teams much easier...
always focus on tech fields rather than skill
unless it's skill 3 vs 7 and 2 vs 3 fields.

If you want something that just *leads to victory while u do nothing and drink coffee* then try HOI3... You bascially do nothing at all and you dont need to do anything... Its basically AI vs AI (i find it very boring... however thats only if you put everything on AI control.... yet if you dont its micromanage hell especially trying to micromanage battles O_O)
