the russian attacked

i couldn´t hold all the line, so i let him enter in two points, he passed through some province in poland, and went to berlin,
where he stopped, but he had inside more than 50 divisions deppending on just a single polish province,
so i just move all my tanks and swiftly cut his line,
the i crashed all the divisions in a couple of days.

the front seems weak now, i will do the same in the rumanian area, where he has a single point and more than 30 units inside, then is going to be easy because i will have more units than him,

but if the AI would have atacked the provinces next to the bottleneck first it would have been really hard.



definition of bottleneck

a province P y bottleneck of a unit U if the only way to pass supplies to U is through province P.

definition of deep

the deep of a unit U is the distance from the province where Unit U is located to the province P, where P is the farthest bottleneck of U

i would use a rule, that says that you need to have the same amount of units in the bottleneck than the sum of the units in all provinces with
deep 1, deep 2, deep 3 ,....

in deep 1 you need to have the same amounts of units (or firepower) than in the sum of
deep 2, deep 3, deep 4,.....

that´s the idea, to use a logarithmic approach.

Actually I would stop when you reach deep 3, and I would attack provinces close to the bottleneck.
