Air brigades

Playing as Germany I noticed some "air brigades" attached to british TAC's. Presumably escort fighters or something like this.
I found no option to build those brigades by myself, neither in my german technology screens nor in the production screens.

Am I missing something, are those limited to certain countries?

You must research particular techs (sorry, I don't remember what techs) to build them. They are build under brigades, not air units "folder."

Hi,

Also the Escort Fighters are not fully implemented for the 0.25 release. So the AI can build them, but a player doesn't have the option to attach them in 0.25 without editing the unit files. This will be corrected for 0.30 which should be available next spring. It should be a major enhancement.

Found the missing technology (Pre-War Escorts - shame on me) and changed the files according to the link. Works perfect now.
