What would it take to apply a distance calculator like the one in Darkest Hour to AOD. I have attempted to port the E3 map to Darkest Hour, and while the naval distances seem to match reality rather well, air distances are off by about 25%. In vanilla AOD it's not quite as bad but still between 15-20%, compared to real distances. I think this qualifies as a serious flaw. AOD still calculates distances via pixels, while DH uses a much more sophisticated system based on GPS coordinates. I know this would probably need some changes to the hardcode. But in my opinion AOD would immensely profit from especially its superior logistics system. Could it be done?
