Airborne Assault Mission not working??

Hi all,

Tried IC the other week and although I'd like to see some changes overall it's not a bad game - apart from airborne assaults. How the frik do you do these to work? Playing as Germany I wasted IC and tech on researching paratroops, transports even commandos and then I find when I steam roll Belgium and I click on my transports loaded with paratroops the only mission I can choose is - none??? Also I can't even drop them in my own country? All I seem to be able to do is load and unload the units on the transports.I was wondering if anyone has been able to get this to work?

You have to research in Air Doctrine "Vertical Envelopment" to get Airborne Assault active. If you use the Technoflechas program to see what needs researching prior. I believe Bombing Doctrine, Para Studies and at least Basic Air Transport should get this to open up for you. Hope this helps.

Its in the air doctrines. Just like in other HoI2s.
