Aircraft Upgrade Bug?

Hello,


It is 1939 and have been developing a lot of tech for Germany, but the aircraft tech beyond the level of "basic" are still not available and my entire airforce consists of biplanes. Also my tanks are still level 1 light tanks, with the research for heavier tanks just not being available, not available to begin researching that is.

Are these bug issues?

You need to research some industrial techs to updgrade to light tanks and better planes. Start by getting special materials I think and it unlocks additonal weapons. The tech tree takes a bit getting used to. you can also use technoflas in your IC folder. e

I spent the first two years researching heavy into industrial techs, the only three ones available to begin research on are light industry, public finance, and refined fuel.

You definitely need Light Industry and then special or refined materials afterwards and that will unlock more of the tech tree for you. Refined fuel also unlocks the next light tank after the 20mm. Once you get used to the tech tree it is pretty cool. Took me a fair number of games to get used to it but now I really like it.
