First off many thanks to the makers of AIOGP. its a great mod and I am having much fun with it

This little mod I have created I actually made for myself and am posting it here for anyone interested
Changes are:-
1. Nerfed Japan to a more historical starting point and reduced some of their production bonuses to stop them becoming a greater industrial nation than most others in the game
2. Rebalanced TC loading for occupied territories so it is harder to conquer a large country now as the ai is constantly blitzkrieging China and the USSR
3. Reworked a lot of stats for aircraft mainly focusing on speed and ranges and reduced aircraft numbers to 50
What I have done is taken an iconic plane for the year represented (ie the P47 Thunderbolt is the 1943 Multi Role fighter)
and used it as the basis for the stats. I have researched the maximum range of the aircrafts and divided by 3 to give the operational range.
This is to simulate a third of the time getting to target a third for the mission and a third for the return journey.
Beware now when choosing aircraft to produce as this has drastically reduced some aircraft ranges
4. Carrier air groups are now hugely expensive in comparison to normal as they were far too cheap
5. increased cost and production time of IC to stop the unrealistic Industrialisation rush
6. Rebalanced many unit costs and fuel and supply consumptions to strain the economy more when in combat with an emphasis on increasing motorised units (this is not finished by any means and needs further work)
7. Lots of other stuff I cant remember now(I am rushing to type this sorry) but I will try to fill in more later

In playtesting as a minor nation and watching AI Germany vs USSR and Japan vs China the results are very similar to actual history. The only problem I did find is that AI Germany takes 6 months rather than 6 weeks to defeat France. The Eastern front now sees AI Germany advance to pretty much their historical levels before stalemate for a few years until one side or the other cracks. In China AI Japan now conquer about half of China before the US enters the war
I am not claiming to be a master at this as I am just an amateur historian that loves this game so if anyone knows better about the changes made I am always open to suggestions

To Install.
Backup the db,map and scenarios folders from your original AIOGP install in case you dont like the changes

download, unpack and after backing up copy the All in one Gold Edition folder into the mods folder of your darkest hour install and let it overwrite

Thank you,I think the AI is pretty bad at producing units, I also edited the AI file a bit so they can produce units that I think are more efficient @@

Thanks Giang, I will look at your file and see what changes you made as I am interested in modding the AI myself. I have noticed that when I play as UK and Italy collapses after the Invasion of Italy that Germany does not defend its southern flank. My Uk armies drive sraight up through Italy, cross the Alps and invade Austria and still the AI does not transfer units to oppose me.

- Why? It's just adds unecessary micro, since we will now have to produce and micromanage twice as many air wigs.

- You just killed most minor/secondary nations gameplay. I always liked All in One for interesting minor nations opportunities and flavour (like Yugoslavia). I have TRP or EoD for Barbarossa and GER/SOV/Majors campaigns ;)

I like most other changes, especially Japan debuff since they are OP in All in One.

Where do i reverse the number of aircraft? Whats the standard then - 100?

equipment = { fighter = 50 manpower = 50 } to 100 and 100 would this be right?
