All of my children getting Greyscale and dying

I'm not sure if the following is a bug or just me getting really unlucky.

I'm playing as Edmyn Tully in the 7996 start-date with the most recent version. The issue is that on the same day after about 21 months every single one of my children caught Greyscale. Again, possibly intentional but considering it literally killed or disfigured all of my children and happened so absolutely and quickly it strikes me as either a bug or excessively unforgiving.

Not sure but it can be vanilla bug - multiple trait in family
But bug and quite old, pre Horse Lords and 2.4 patch IMO

It's the test version that was released last month I'm playing. Should I still be getting it?

It is a weird quirk of the game engine, when one character gets and illness etc then characters linked to that original character also get it

Yes but not at the exact same moment, it is genuinely just a thing the game engine does in vanilla as well
