Load any save from my city (4-5 saves spanning multiple in game years)
Wait for 5-30 seconds

Expected Result​

Not crashing or at least an error message to troubleshoot

Crash to desktop with no error

I tried to disable all the mods and the result was the same.

Thank you for the report. When you disabled the mods did you make an entirely new save to try on, or did you try booting up the latest save? To see if it is the mods that are acting up, you can try to disable the mods and then start a completely new save. If the issues disappear it is most likely a mod issue you are experiencing.

If you are still experiencing the issue after making a new save, please write back to us and we will investigate this further.

When I disabled mods I tried multiple saves of the same city with same result (traffic frozen then CTD).
I even tried the save from months ago where my city was far smaller and I used fewer mods but the result was the same.

I tried to start a new city both with and without mods (all of them) and it worked fine , but I only tried for a couple of minutes so perhaps it wasn't enough to trigger the right circumstances that cause the crash.

From your explanation, it seems like the issue is originating from one of the mods that are used in that save. Even though you might not experience the issue right away in a new save using mods, it could be something that appears later on when playing if you are using the same mod that is causing the issue.


If it is an issue with one of the mods, we are unable to help out as we are not the ones updating them. However, if you play more on a save that is not using mods, and you are experiencing the same issue, please send us that save-file and the devs will investigate it further!
