Summary

Allied and high-opinion vassals join tyranny related wars, particularly after "retracting a vassal"

Description

This occurs sometimes when I attempt to retract a vassal, imprison a vassal, revoke a core, or otherwise make an action with the possibility of rebellion from a vassal. When this happens, other "disgruntled vassals," as expected, rise up in solidarity with the affected vassal, particularly any in factions against the player. However, in several of these wars, I've had vassals which should have no ability at all to be at war with me suddenly join in declaring on me, such as allied vassals and (allied) children, all with extremely high opinion of me as well. They, as allies (and children), are also obviously not in any factions prior to the uprising, although it seems this isn't a necessary requirement for joining a tyranny war, so this is probably unrelated. It's probably fairly reasonable that child vassals can join tyranny wars, but it seems silly they can join in on these but are also unable to join factions (as a side note I think with the advent of regencies, children should be able to join factions now.) However, it makes especially little sense for my ALLIED vassals to join tyranny wars against me, especially since that's the entire point of them. It seems this is especially likely with retracting a vassal, for whatever reason: my theory (from someone with very little computer knowledge) is that because you are able to retract vassals from allies, but not land, when considering joining the war, they consider it as if their own vassal is being revoked. This is also strange because retracting a vassal has way lower tyranny gain (5) compared to revoking land (20). As mentioned, these vassals also have usually very high opinion of me as well, and have no other reason to be at war with me (same faith, unrelated vassal stances, terrified, etc).

In the save and image provided, this can best be observed in Shahzada Varshasb (ruler of county Ghur), who is a child (my son, in fact), negotiated alliance with a weak army (520), the same faith and same house. Both before and after the tyranny gain and even the -20 offensive war modifier, he has 100 opinion of me. My house is also Harmonious, meaning he should by default be much less likely to join factions. Nonetheless, he still joins when retracting a vassal from Farisid. He also shares very little in common in terms of traits and vassal stance with the other allies who rise up in this instance, such as Farzad II of the Kirman duchy or Hormoz "the Satrap of Dice" of the Wasit duchy, who are also of my house and family. To see if this was related to negotiated alliances, I tested to see if creating a marriage alliance with Farzad II would stop this, but in both instances he still rises up after retracting a vassal, so this is unrelated.
I also purposefully decreased relations with Shah Sina of the kingdom of Khorasan to show that this is possible with revoking land as well, although far less likely it seems.

With the instructions for the byzantine start, this is also clearly shown. It seems more opinion related here tho, as by improving relations with an allied vassal before attempting to retract, I was able to stop Duke Leon from joining a war. However, since it still occurs with my 100 opinion allied son, I'm sure some will still revolt regardless of alliance.

Steps to reproduce

Through my save file:
1. Retract a vassal from the Farisid Satrapy. I only tested this with the first 2 retractable vassals, but I assume it works with the rest too.
2. Unpause.
3. Observe that the ensuing war has 4 of my allies in it against me: Shah Sina of the kingdom of Khorasan, Satrap Farzad II of the duchy of Kirman, Shahzada Hormoz "the Satrap of Dice" of the Wasit duchy, and Shahzada Varshasb of the Ghur county.
Note: Revoking land instead of retracting a vassal also causes the issue, but only from Shah Sina of the kingdom of Khorasan.

Through a new save.
1. Start with the date 1066 as the Byzantine Empire.
2. Ally with basically any vassal in your entire kingdom.
3. Attempt to retract a vassal or a core from someone. I picked athens. If you succeed, try again elsewhere.
4. Observe as your allies revolt against you, along with the rest of the empire.
