I'm sorry if this has been asked before, I couldn't find an answer, though it's probably obvious.

How would one go about changing the technologies which a nation starts the game with? For example, if you wanted to grant the ability to form armoured divisions to major nations at the start of the game without having to research it, which was one of my plans.

Thanks.

Go to the scenarios folder of the scenario you want to modify (ex DH Full: Mods/DH Full/scenarios/1914 or 1936) then modify the .inc for the country you want. Scroll down to technology and add the tech id.

You can find tech id's in the tech tree files (db/tech and open up relevant tech tree.txt. Search for the tech name).
