Hey guys,

So far AGOD has been extremely fun and surpassed my expectations. After about 2 hours of playtime on small map I have collected all 4 crystals. I have also reached floor 28 and can't seem to dig farther. Is the game over for me? I mean, yeah I can customize my stronghold more... but as far as enemies and bosses and things to explore, is that done? I had to kill a lvl 35 shaman in the room with the 4th and final crystal... I guess I don't know what else to expect? I've dug out the entire bottom floor and im left kinda scratching my head on what's next for me? Anyway, vets please fill me in!

On to greater things: the campaign, bigger custom games, building. I spent 8.5 hours building a grand tower with a library, a concert area and a area for quiet meditation for my dwarves:)

I m not that far coz i spend most of my time trying to enhance my settlement with decoration, big structure and stuffs like that. It s like DK where i spend more time create the perfect dungeon than killing people and for a game like this I think this is the main goal. Try use your imagination and play with the differents layers to build vast room.

Ps: grand tower ? Challenge accepted, another dungeon plan i want to do !

Well my stronghold is massive with many upgrades and decor. I've barely reached the end of Tier2 in my research before I finished this custom game... I guess im just surprised I hit a dead end so quickly.

EDIT:

Also, does trouble ever come to me? Or because I've dug out all the question marked areas, does that mean that my warriors are pointless now?

That's just the small and easy custom map. Try a large and hard one, or go on to the campaign. We tried to focus a lot on player creativity, so why don't you build something epic and upload it? :)

Pic's or it didn't happen!

A level only really ends when you wish it to. You can do whatever you wish.

As already mentioned above, if you do not have any further goal with one level, then move on. Try the campaign if you want even more goals. =)

To me a game like this is all about building something personal to me, something whether it's my attempt to make an optimal layout of my underground kingdom, or something that spans 15 levels in height as a grand structure.

The rooms and the things/enemies/items that I find along the way are the little side diversions while I'm on my way to creating something all my own. Although I know many players that if there is not some constant spawning of enemies to invade their kingdom they will never find a reason to continue to play on a map once they have reached the bottom most floor.

I think it would be grand if there were an OPTION that allowed constant spawning enemies that spawn in waves and make their way p to the heart (throne maybe) of the players kingdom so that they have to always defend themselves, as it would give some players a reason to continue playing the game when they may not find the more creative part of the game to be a viable option.

yeah, having a large network of tunnels prespawned with enemies spawnign at certain places and making their way to your dwarves would be a cool gamemode. would also allow for nice use of traps.

Done? Never done. close to 300 hours in to it now and still so much to do and want to do. I have just only just started.

. . . .and the re-spawning enemies is a must add-on in my book too.
:)
