AMD blank screen/hard system crash. Any solution?

This is not a misplaced bug-report as I haven't any useful information as to when the crash happens. It's just a shot in the dark in a hope that someone has a work-around.

While playing, the screen will simply go blank/black. I can still hear sound but, somehow, the game disables my graphics card and I have no system graphics until I do a hard reset. Once reset my AMD drivers are replaced by generic Windows gfx drivers and I'm forced to reinstall my AMD drivers. There seems to be no pattern. It can happen shortly or long into a gaming session.

There are a number of similar reports on the net and all the reports seem to involve I:R users with AMD cards. So I'm guessing it's AMD related.

Anyway, just hoping it sounds familiar to someone and that they might have a workaround I could use to stabilize this otherwise awesome game....

I would recommend to ask a mod to move your issue to the IR tech forum, as this is the place were the support-savy people are more likely to spot it:
