Ok so the game launches fine, loads into the main menu, but then the moment I hover / click any of the buttons ("New Game, Settings, ect") The amd display driver's crash and the game freezes. I thought this was due to my overclocked card (R9 280x) but that doesn't seem to be the case :/ .

I have verified steam game cache and I have the latest drivers installed.
I have no mods installed ethier.

Cpu: i5 4670k (OC)
Gpu: R9 280x (MSI) : Crimson Drivers 16.5.1

Any help solving this would be great thanks, else steam refunds in the only option :( .

So I booted the game just to see if I wasn't going crazy, and noticed the Msi Afterburner Fps counter, though hell it worth a try disabled it... and.. sure enough. Thats the issue, Wish I'd thought about it before but oh well.
One more issue to add too the list of know issues ehh ? ;P
