Well, me and Daztek has been playing for 4 hours (before the internet connection was lost)...

Our ping is 1000+, but it still runs....

On this time we made about 20 years which is one month per minute (which is the setting).

There are some lag to your commands, but since this is not and AoE clone ;-) there are no problems with that....

I play England and Daztek France....

I realized that he put the Assignments on so we are fairly equal in point ;-) Lucky me....

My early strategy to take out Scottland early did not work, France was there..... (We shouldn't have restarted, since that revealed my tactic.. ;-)

The game is a bit slow, but compensated by the fact that you can chat while playing...

This is great.....

Hey BM

Yep, multiplayer games are the best !
I played a LAN game with a friend of mine, we played almost for 6 hours before our stomachs protested :)

It seems that the bugs encountered when playing MP online are not occuring on LAN...So maybe (theory 1) the speed required to update both player versions cant match the connection speed, thus desync, thus crash...

Anyway, the game runs very smooth and with only one cd (thanks Paradox for allowing for that !)

Chat is easy when in the same room, no need for the crappy chat facilities in the game.

Next step is 8 players, perhaps a Dutch LAN party somewhere ??? :)

Cheers MMAI

LAN works just smooth? That is GOOD news - I live in a dormitory with 420 computers connected via LAN - so I should be able to persuade some of my friends here to drop Counterstrike or RA2 for a few hours and do this!
