An alternative to the already best selling series?

EAST VS. WEST is at risk now. I see it as PI putting its future at risk.

Honestly, I have been a PI fan for more than 6 years and I am quite tired of the existing series.

My hopes got up when I saw the announcement of EAST VS. WEST. This is an alternative I wished for.

A good company never stay only at their winning series to harvest money just as they could.

Call of Duty is dying -> Activision is dying

MP3, Playstation is dying -> Sony is dying

This list goes on and on

What I am saying is that PI need to be brave to take a leap of faith into the future. If it is not EAST VS. WEST, please be another strategy game.

I remember the CEO said that us nerds is a market that could be further explored. Now I am telling you do not only make sequels. New historical periods attract new nerds!

Even the movie industry is making remakes and sequels that are killing itself.

Nether of these companies are dying. Playstation 4 broke even within a couple of weeks, much faster than the PS3 IIRC. Activision whilst failing to beat even their own targets for the new COD the publisher is still going strong with the new COD still 2nd in the charts. EvW was a tragedy though. Also they literally just announced their brand new game "Runestone" and CK II, whilst being the only Paradox game I don't like and don't play, plus EU IV have both sold really well. Although EvW is a tragedy Paradox hardly seem on death's door. The constant delays where beginning to take the piss it must have been close to reaching the point of being difficult to break-even with EvW so they probably made the right decision with it.

What game is that? They also have Rome, March of the Eagles and Senku. Admittedly Rome is never getting a sequel according to the developers.
