An Annoying Error

I've been playing a game as Germany and I've taken over France, Poland, etc. I am (was) making plans to invade Britain. In other words, things were getting good. It's around Dec. 10 1939.

The problem is that whenever the counter reaches a certain date, the game crashes. I have 2 or 3 days (in-game) after I load my save before the crash. Does anyone know what would cause this or how to fix it? I haven't had any problems before and it seems like this is only popping up when I'm starting to have fun. I actually had a problem like this in Victoria too...

Ok great, now it's doing it again. I'm playing the Soviet Union and I've almost conquered Europe. Now that' I've gotten so far, it's starting to screw up. This is really, really, really pissing me off.

When you loaded the save game did it crash at the same time or doing the same action?

IF Yes Then:

If No then:
1) Rename the AVI folder to AVI_back
2) Set the color depth to 16BIT
3) Turn off everything in the background like E-mail/ICQ/Messenger, Virus protection and everything in the system tray beside the clock.
4) Update your Windows, update your Video card drivers and audio card drivers. Then repeat steps 1-3.
