Anarchy disables error checks for tools in a way that the errors are not shown at all. This mod allows you to place vegetation and props (with DevUI 'Add Object' menu) overlapping or inside the boundaries of other objects and close together.

Please provide feedback here. You can report bugs or issues you think are specifically related to Anarchy. If you have suggestions for future updates, that is also appreciated and belongs in this thread.

Sorry for my ignorance but is this the only way to extend grass areas or is there another mod for this? Placing pavement or grass areas would be a cool standalone feature to have (without using Devtools).

DevUI add object menu is the current way to make it alter surfaces using PDXmods. The ELT feature for surfaces will be released on PDX mods eventually but that is a project by @Triton Supreme

For azerty users the shortcut is CTRL+Q.
I also tested if changing the keyboard layout virtually to qwerty on Windows by using ALT+CTRL. Keybind remains on CTRL+Q.
Could be added to mod info.

Thanks for the report. I may add that at some point. I don't know if there's another setup that would be more consistent across keyboards.
 
Has anyone else noticed persistent anarchy on train tracks? Every time I try to disable anarchy for train tracks, it re-enables itself.
Which aspect of the mod do you think is not being disabled? The icon? The conflict checks? or being able to build low bridges over other networks?
 
Getting an occasional crash to desktop. Player.log shows this error:

[UI] [WARN] ResourceRequestJob | Failed loading resource: coui://ui-mods/images/ColoredAnarchy.svg

Not sure if that's the cause of the crash but it's the last entry in player.log.
 
Interesting, I will look into that as I was supposed to have removed that. I wonder do you have tool tip option enabled?

I have tooltip, flaming chirper and tool icon on. The crash seems to happen when I am about to click something in the bottom right corner (usually move it). Not sure if it has something to do with moving the cursor from the game space to UI or what.


EDIT: Okay just had it happen again. Looks like maybe Move it is also throwing an error?

I can easily fix the error you told me about with the bad icon path. I doubt that missing icon path in Anarchy would be the cause of the crashes. I believe Quboid will need to fix the crash related to the Move It! Button. I have experienced that, and others have too. Interesting that it’s a png. Maybe that’s part of the problem.

Is it possible to, like in CS1, force the network to go into elevated mode or tunnel mode?

I know that for the extended road options adds something like that to the game, but this isn't available in the map editor and it makes life really difficult.

I only speak for myself here but the other options like retaining wall / quay aren't that important in the editor, even if they would also be appreciated.

It's on my to-do list of things I want to do, have volunteered for, and haven't actually started. For Extended road upgrades in the editor, try looking up the prefabs in the add object menu.
 
Firstly think you for this.

Im trying to use this in the map editor and it works letting me places Constant Level Water Source and Constant Rate Water Source on the Worldmap but no water is spawning. If a Border River Water Source could be places on the worldmap that would be a big help when making map with rivers that start off map on in the worldmap.
