The composer for many if not all of PDS's games is Andreas Waldetoft, who is one of the best Video Game composers I know. All of the different series soundtracks share certain PDS leitmotifs.
i would rather listen to the EUIII or HOI IV soundtrack than something by Zimmer or Williams. Maybe my love for this companies games clouds my opinions, but the music is one of the star features for me. Getting the new songs is a highlight of a PDS Expansion for me. I listen to your soundtracks when I study and they have gotten me through many a bleary all-nighter. Around the time I started playing PDS game I came down with a "super bug" and have been in and out of medical quarantine for 4 years now and the songs you write and the games they accompany have relieved me from the intense boredom and loneliness that goes along with it. When I listen to the songs my mind can leave my medical house arrest and be a knight, or explorer or field marshal at least in my mind. The truly portray the grandness of history and the highs and lows of the Men and Women who made it. My fellow musically inclined Paradoxians should post their favorite pieces below also. I am looking forward to great things out of I:R and the inevitable VicIII. I can not express my appreciation for your work enough, whatever they pay you Andreas, you deserve a raise!
